Ross Major

Certified Personal Trainer & Instructor

Ross Major, NASM-certified and a firm believer in "movement is medicine," has a lifelong passion for fitness rooted in childhood ballet classes and equestrian activities. His journey includes being a Kenpo Karate instructor, serving as an Arctic Paratrooper in Alaska, and exploring America as a blackjack dealer. A significant achilles injury during a 300-mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail redirected his focus to the healing aspects of movement, deepening his commitment to a holistic fitness approach.

Ross's training philosophy is a consistency for progress, variety for plateaus, and randomness for fun—mirrors his multifaceted life experiences. He views strength not merely as an outcome but as a skill to be cultivated, focusing on building the body up through mindful practice rather than tearing it down. A functional strength coach at heart, Ross specializes in the Original Strength Reset system and hardstyle kettlebells, advocating for a balanced approach to fitness that prioritizes functional strength and movement integrity.

With a passion for connecting and sharing his journey, Ross encourages everyone he meets to embrace the philosophy that movement is medicine. Whether you're seeking to enhance your fitness regimen, overcome physical challenges, or simply enjoy the journey of personal growth, Ross invites you to say hi and join him on a transformative path toward health and vitality.
