SOCIAL GOLF EVENTS

We have a lot of fun events coming up and you don’t need to be a great golfer to play! We want you to enjoy the golf course, have fun with friends and drinks and food when we are done!

MountainView Masters is back on April 9

Last spring, we had a FANTASTIC turn out for the 1st Annual MountainView Masters Par 3 event. We had a sell-out of 72 Players and we are hoping to be bigger this year!

Same format of all holes will be turned into Par 3’s, followed by a Masters’ favorites sliders (Egg Salad, Pulled Pork and Chicken Salad), chips and brownies.

We will have some prizes along the way as well!

The cost is $45 per player – includes Prizes, Dinner, and a donation to PGA HOPE Arizona. PGA HOPE is a program that we are a part of at MountainView. Where we teach Veterans how to play golf as part of a Department of Defense MOU with the PGA of America and the VA.

9 Hole Policy Change
Thank you for your support as we have worked through the ForeTees booking changes over the last month. Change is hard for all of us, but we appreciate your patience as we continue to work together through these changes. I wanted to give you a quick update on the 9-Hole policy. Traditionally, we have required a Nine Hole Starting time to be after 2:00 pm or anything available within 24 hours of the day you want to play. Well, with the expanded opportunity to book starting times at 10 days – we are going to allow 9 Hole bookings (prior to 2:00 pm) to be booked 72 hours in advance – or 3 days. We feel that this will help you plan your schedule better and allow us to manage each day just a little bit better.

For example, if you saw a 1:08 pm Tee Time at MountainView open and wanted to play Nine Holes – previously, you’d have to wait until Thursday morning to book that time. Now, you’ll be able to book that on Tuesday Morning!

We are excited to enhance this booking opportunity and get more players on both golf courses!

There will be some hiccups as we all learn this new process together, I ask you please be patient with our team, as they are learning it right alongside you!

BOOKING STARTING TIMES

Just a reminder about booking starting times. Annual Passholders, Seasonal Passholders, and Afternoon Unlimited Passholders can request lottery times up to 30 days in advance. At least 2 players in each starting time must be one of these designations or the request will not be processed.
All other players may book starting times up to 10 days (available starting at 700am) in advance of the day you want to play.

NEW 2025 GOLF PROGRAMS ON SALE NOW!

Below are some of the key changes to the programs

  • Annual Pass Holders (Full, Seasonal Unlimited (new), and Afternoon Annuals can secure starting times up to 14 days in advance!
  • Full Resident Rate can secure starting times up to 10 days in advance!
  • SaddleBrooke TWO Canyon Card (our new “punch card”) will be able to book times up to 10 days in advance as well!
We know some of you are looking for the 25 or 50 round punch cards. After reviewing rounds played and punches unused. We came up with the SaddleBrooke TWO Canyon Card. This card guarantees the best daily fee rate by discounting every round you play ($10 off for 18-hole play and $7 off for 9-hole play). The cost is $129 and includes a free round in January! You’ll have earned your money back in as quickly as 3 rounds – so the more you play, the more you save! This way, you’ll never have to worry about if you should pay or use your punch card!

We have a new Seasonal Unlimited Program designed for our residents who spend 6 months with us while the northern climates are locked in colder weather. The Seasonal Unlimited Program is good January – April and again in November and December of 2025.

We are excited for the 2024 – 2025 Season and having you as an important piece of a great season. If you have any questions, feel free to email Mike or Wayne at [email protected] or [email protected], or even better, come and see us in the Golf Shops!

2025 Golf Rate - FAQ's

The new Canyon Card is bringing some questions from your fellow residents, and we wanted to get those out in a single document.  If more questions arise, we will add them each week - right here.

  • Can my Canyon Card be used for my friends and family?
    • The Canyon Card is available for the cardholder only and is not transferable.
  • The free round says Date of Purchase - but can I wait until March to use it?
    • The simple answer is No.  Here are some caveats to that.  The original plan was to start selling the card on January 1st, in conjunction  with the complimentary round.  However, since we have started selling now, your free round can be used for your 1st round for your first round in 2025.
  • I play in a group every Wednesday; will I be holding them back from getting starting times 14 days in advance?
    • The answer:  Possibly.  Annual Passholders will be able to secure starting times up to 14 days in advance if there are equal or more Annual Passholders than not.  For example, if there are 15 players in the Group - there must be at least 8 Annuals to be able to secure those starting times up to 14 days in advance.

  • DRESS CODE REMINDER
    • Golf attire is required at both courses. Please remember golf attire is required to utilize both golf courses and the practice facilities. A good guide is if you see a PGA TOUR or LPGA TOUR player wearing it, you can wear it on the HOA2 courses. Although your denim might look great, its not allowed on any of the practice areas or courses. If you aren’t sure, ask anyone in the Golf Shop, we’ll be happy to help!
  • PRACTICE RANGE CLEAN PICKS
    • Monday & Friday mornings – Practice Facilities will NOT be open until mowing and sanding is completed. This may mean tee times will begin before the Practice Facilities are officially open. We apologize for the inconvenience in advance & appreciate your support in giving our maintenance team time to prepare Practice Facilities for YOU!
    • The Practice Range closes at 4:30pm Sundays & Thursdays. To give you the best experience on our Practice Facilities, we perform a Clean Pick on Sundays & Thursdays. We close the Practice Facilities at 4:30pm to make sure we have adequate time to pick the driving range. We thank you in advance for your assistance in allowing our team to have the time to get their job done.
