Weekly ALC Tip:

How to select and plant a tree? Start with the ALC Guidelines. The prohibited list and a commonly planted list are Appendices A and B. An ALC permit is required to plant a tree or saguaro anywhere on your lot.

  • SaddleBrooke is part of a Dark Sky Community that helps support several World-Class telescopes within 50 miles. As residents in a Dark Sky community, we are obligated to keep bright or upward- or outward-facing lights turned off after 10 pm every night. We want everyone to do their part and keep their lights off. The Patrol may observe houses with bright lights left on overnight and those houses may receive notices from the ALC to comply with the light curfew. Please do your part!

• Contractor Performance Evaluations:
  • Fellow SBHOA2 homeowners have completed dozens of contractor evaluations to help you select the best contractor for your job. • ALC Resident Report of Violation: 
  • Any resident can report a potential ALC violation by filling out the ALC Report of Violation Form and submitting it to the SBHOA2 Admin Office. Click here for form.
• Weeds
  • Weeds are one of the most common community complaints. Please be sure you, or your landscape contractor, watch for and remove or kill all weeds on your lot. Contractors, or the homeowners themselves, can manually remove weeds or use weed killer on existing weeds and pre-emergent control for those future weeds. Weeds in your yard must be eradicated whether you are here or not. Plan to have someone take care of weeds in your yard while you are on vacation.
