Mill & Pave Project
UPDATE MAY 12, 2025

Revised Mill & Grade Dates:

 
  • ***Driving and parking on the surface is permitted when machinery is not in operation. Note that any resident with mobility challenges should exercise caution when walking over uneven gravel post-Mill & Grade. Street parking is allowed during these times, and carpooling is recommended to reduce congestion.***

Phase I
MountainView Lot: COMPLETE

Phase II
Clubhouse Drive:
May 5–May 17
Unit 48 Streets: May 14–May 17

Road work will start at 6:00 AM each day and no work will take place on Sundays.
Note: Dates are weather-dependent; updates will be communicated on this page and via email if schedules shift. Only the area scheduled for work on a day of a weather delay, will be moved to the end of the project. All other work will adhere to it’s pre-planned scheduled.

Traffic and Parking Adjustments

  • Any resident with mobility challenges should exercise caution when walking over uneven gravel post-Mill & Grade
  • Guided two-lane traffic on Clubhouse Drive during work
  • Patrol will allow overnight street parking (no citations) in the immediate vicinity of the roadwork in both areas on the night before milling and paving takes place.
  • SaddleBrooke Blvd. and Lago Del Oro Road are available as alternative routes and exits for residents wanting to avoid slower traffic days on Clubhouse Drive.
  • Winding Trail Gate will be opened during Phase II May 5-17 to help manage access during Unit 48 paving
  • Patrol will secure the gate between 10pm and 5am, just like the Clubhouse gate.
  • No full road closures, but limited access near DesertView Complex May 15
  • DV Parking for fitness center, pool, tennis, and cornhole May 15: Softball Field Lot
  • DV Fitness classes will be reduced May 15
  • Golf carts and bicycles will be impacted
  • Once barricades are removed, the surface is safe for vehicle and golf cart traffic.
  • Walking on fresh asphalt is NOT recommended, but permitted with consideration for proper footwear.
  • DO NOT ALLOW PETS TO WALK ON ASPHALT ON PAVING DAYS.

Impact on Amenities and Clubs

DV Complex Parking Lot will be closed 5/15. Limited Parking available at the Softball Fields.
DV Library will be closed 5/15

 DesertView Fitness Complex
  • Fitness classes will be reduced on May 15
  • DV Complex Tennis, pool, cornhole and fitness center access available via softball lot parking
  • No DVPAC shows impacted

Trash and Utilities

  • Trash and recycling: Move bins off the street the night before paving
  • Water: No landscape watering or pool draining on paving days
  • Gas and electric services: No planned disruptions; contact HOA for concerns

Mail, Packages, and Deliveries

  • No mail delivery on days your street is scheduled for work
  • Packages (FedEx, UPS) will not be delivered on paving days
  • Important deliveries: residents should reschedule if possible
