IRON + SAND 2022
The 2022 Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles boasts a dense purple hue and opens with aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, anise, cedar, spice, coffee, and tobacco. Its velvety palate reveals raspberry, cherry, plum, baking spices, earthy notes, and a touch of vanilla, supported by lively acidity and fine tannins for excellent aging potential. The finish is long, supple, and mouthwatering.
Crafted from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and 5% Petite Sirah, the wine was aged in neutral French and American oak for nine months. The 2022 vintage, shaped by drought and a late harvest, delivered exceptional fruit with vibrant acidity and balanced complexity.
