Credit Card Fees FAQ


1. What is the new Credit Card Convenience Fee?
Starting March 1st, a 3.5% fee will be applied to credit card transactions at SaddleBrooke Two.

2. What is the purpose of this fee?

It helps us offset the costs of credit card transactions we currently pay, allowing us to maintain the high-quality services you enjoy at SaddleBrooke Two.

3. Who will be affected by this fee?
Anyone making credit card purchases at SaddleBrooke TWO front desk, restaurants, fitness, banquet events, nohost bars and resident golf play and golf shop purchases. This includes paying for permits, fines, replacement/renter/guest cards at the front desk.

4.Are there any exceptions to this fee?
Yes. The fee does not apply to non-resident golf play and golf shop purchases, ticketed online SaddleBrooke Two Events or DVPAC.net.

5.How will golf annual passes be handled?
In 2024, credit card transactions for golf annual passes will include the 3.5% fee. Online pricing will reflect this change.

6.What about food and beverage purchases?
The 3.5% fee will be automatically added to all such credit card purchases, which will be visible on your receipt for residents and nonresidents.

7.Can I use my debit card without incurring the fee?
Yes, you can do this online with ACH payment for POA payments and in person at main POS stations to enter your PIN. We are working to integrate this feature into the servers’ tablets for table-side debit payment. You cannot use debit cards for AR Payments.

8.What are the preferred payment methods to avoid the fee?
You can use your member charge, cash (in restaurants/golf shops), a debit card (with PIN at the main POS), or a cashier’s check (for banquets).

9.Will there be debit card fees?
No, however there is no liability for possible additional fees that might occur with debit card transactions versus credit card. Please ensure you communicate to staff your preferred payment method before purchasing.

10. How will I know about this fee?
Our staff will be trained to inform you, and there will be clear signage. Plus, we’re running marketing campaigns to ensure everyone is aware.
