Personal Trainer

SD has always had a passion for fitness. He played multiple sports in high school and college. He has always kept in shape by playing tennis and through a variety of strength training strategies.

After 20 years as a financial advisor, SD changed directions and completed his license as a massage therapist at the Cortiva Institute. Next, he became a certified personal trainer through the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers. SD has also completed a certification as an Egoscue Postural Therapist around which he incorporates in his sessions with clients seeking postural correction.

Realizing that only so much can be done in the gym and spring boarding off a longstanding interest in nutrition, SD completed a certificate as a fitness nutrition specialist. SD is known for his non-traditional training methods including looped resistance bands, TRX, kettlebells and body-weight training.

SD is acutely aware of the hurdles seniors face both in and out of the gym. His continuing study of corrective exercise, rehabilitation and nutrition allows him to serve the community of SaddleBrooke. He is known for a gentle, yet firm teaching style enjoyed by all his clients.
