A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Mary has always been interested in nutrition, wellness, and health. Mary graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition and later completed studies with a Master of Business Administration from St Ambrose University. She is professionally associated with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Mary loves to talk food and fitness. She has shared her knowledge with HOA2 residents with the Nutrition Basics series as well as other hot nutrition topics, Healthy nutrition is just a way of life in her home. The positive effects of diet for inflammation are of particular interest to her. Mary has helped many people learn about the pleasure of healthy eating for weight loss and general health through a series of cooking classes she offered. Everyone leaves class with many ideas and strategies that they agree they can easily incorporate into their lifestyle. Nutrition will change your life. Exercise and diet go hand in hand. Mary has been a certified Jazzercise instructor for over 20 years, certified in Group Fitness/Bootcamp Instruction by the American Sports & Fitness Association, and a RYT200 Yoga Instructor. She also enjoys HOA2 fitness classes and pickleball.
